Privacy policy

Clear information about what data we process, why we process it and how you stay in control, under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD, Law 13,709/2018).

Last updated:

1. Who the controller is

Smart Lead Tools (smartleadstools.com) is operated by Kaique Mitsuo Silva Yamamoto, an individual, who acts as the controller of the personal data processed on the website and the platform.

Our data protection officer (DPO) can be reached at [email protected]. Use this address for any privacy question or request.

2. Data we collect on the website

  • Contact and demo forms: name, email, WhatsApp, company, role, industry, workflow, challenge and any message you write.
  • Technical access logs kept by the server, such as IP address, request date and time and browser, used for security and operations.
  • Theme preference (light or dark), stored only in your browser.

We do not use tracking cookies, ad pixels or third-party analytics on the website.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • Replying to you, scheduling demos and preparing proposals — pre-contractual steps at your request (LGPD art. 7, V).
  • Sending communications related to your request, with an opt-out at any time — legitimate interest (art. 7, IX).
  • Keeping access logs for the period required by Brazil's Internet Civil Framework — legal obligation (LGPD art. 7, II and art. 15 of Law 12,965/2014).
  • Protecting the website against abuse and fraud — legitimate interest (art. 7, IX).

4. Data processed by the prospecting platform

The platform organizes publicly available business information for B2B prospecting. Sources are Google Maps (business name, address, phone, website and rating), Brazil's open company registry data (legal name, activity code, registration status and size) and work emails identified from the company's domain.

These records may include data about individuals, such as sole proprietors or professional email addresses. We process this data based on legitimate interest (LGPD art. 7, IX and §§ 3 and 4), limited to the professional context and the purpose of business prospecting. We do not process sensitive personal data.

If you are the subject of a record in our database, you can object to the processing and request deletion at [email protected].

Customers using the platform decide how they contact leads and are responsible for that use as controllers, including honoring opt-out requests.

5. Who we share data with

  • Infrastructure providers acting as processors, such as server and database hosting (MongoDB Atlas) and processing queues, solely to run the service.
  • Public authorities, when required by law or court order.

We do not sell personal data. Links to Calendly and WhatsApp lead to third-party services governed by their own privacy policies.

Some providers may process data outside Brazil. In those cases, transfers follow the conditions of LGPD art. 33.

6. How long we keep data

  • Form data: up to 24 months after the last interaction, or until you request deletion.
  • Access logs: 6 months, as required by the Internet Civil Framework.
  • Platform data: while useful for prospecting purposes, and deleted when the data subject objects.

7. Your rights

Under LGPD (art. 18), you may request at any time:

  • Confirmation that we process your data and access to it.
  • Correction of incomplete, inaccurate or outdated data.
  • Anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary or non-compliant data.
  • Portability of your data to another provider.
  • Information about who we share your data with.
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interest.

Send your request to [email protected]. We may ask for information to verify your identity. We reply within 15 days. You may also file a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).

8. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), credential-restricted access to systems and databases, and separated environments. No system is fully immune to incidents; if a relevant incident affects your data, we will notify you and the ANPD as required by law.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the service or the law. The date at the top of the page shows the version in force; material changes will be highlighted on the website.
